Who handles your information

EO Distribution Limited, trading as Anthony Owo, is responsible for personal information collected through anthonyowo.com. You can reach us using our contact form. Our business details are available separately. This notice covers our website, contact messages, dream submissions, business enquiries and consultations.

What we collect and why

We receive information from you, from Shopify and payment providers when you use the store, and from the public social profiles you ask us to review.

  • Forms and messages: your email and message, plus your name if supplied. Dream and business forms also ask for phone, country, social or business details where relevant. We use these to consider dreams, respond to enquiries and discuss relevant support or work. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in handling these requests; steps you request towards a contract may also apply. We handle data-rights requests to meet our legal obligations.
  • Orders and consultations: billing, order, payment-status and booking details, plus material needed for your session. We use these to fulfil the contract, arrange the service and handle refunds. Payment providers process card details; we do not need your full card number.
  • Website use: device, IP address, browsing and interaction data. We use necessary information to operate and secure the store and prevent fraud, relying on legitimate interests. Optional cookies and marketing use consent where required.
  • Business records: relevant transactions and correspondence are kept to meet accounting and other legal duties, and to establish or defend claims where necessary.

Required form and checkout fields are needed to handle the request or purchase; without them we may be unable to proceed. We do not make decisions about dream support solely by automated processing with legal or similarly significant effects.

Please leave out medical records, identity documents, bank details and private information about other people. We remove unnecessary sensitive information. Any necessary use of special-category information requires an additional legal condition, such as explicit consent. Dream submissions, business enquiries and consultations are for adults aged 18 or over. We remove ineligible submissions unless a limited legal or safeguarding reason requires retention. Anyone may use the contact form to ask about their rights.

Sharing and partners

We share only what is needed with providers supporting the store, payments, communications, appointments, IT, professional advice and legal obligations. Providers acting for us must protect the information and use it only as instructed. We may also disclose relevant information where legally required or necessary to protect rights and prevent fraud.

A dream or business enquiry may lead to a referral to The Vault, a brand, sponsor or another support partner. Before a new referral, we will explain who would receive your information and why, and obtain consent where required. This notice does not give unnamed partners unrestricted access or permission to market to you.

Submitting a form is not consent to marketing or publicity. Publishing your story, using it in promotional content or recording a private consultation requires a separate agreement. You can withdraw marketing consent or object to direct marketing at any time.

Shopify and cookies

Shopify hosts the store and processes information to provide it. With Shopify Network Intelligence enabled, Shopify also uses interactions with this store and other merchants to provide enhanced services, which can include personalisation, advertising and fraud prevention. For that processing, Shopify is responsible for responding to relevant privacy requests. See Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy and privacy portal.

Essential cookies support functions such as checkout and security. Optional cookies are subject to the choices and consent required in your location. Use Cookie preferences in the footer to review your choices; refusing optional cookies does not prevent a purchase. Shopify’s cookie information explains its cookies and lifetimes.

Providers may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where required, transfers use an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards, such as the UK IDTA/Addendum or EU Standard Contractual Clauses, with any necessary additional protections. You can request information about the relevant safeguards through our privacy contact route.

How long we keep it

We keep information only while needed for its purpose or a legal obligation, with the following normal limits:

  • Unselected dreams: up to 12 months. Active support proposals are reviewed annually and retained only while needed.
  • General contact messages and business enquiries: up to 24 months after the last substantive contact. Consultation preparation and working notes: up to 12 months after the session and agreed follow-up.
  • Core contract, booking and refund evidence: normally up to six years after the contract ends where needed for claims. Required company accounting records: normally six years from the end of the relevant financial year, or longer where the law requires.
  • Permissions and privacy requests: the minimum evidence needed to demonstrate compliance. Minimal suppression records may be kept to honour opt-outs. Technical records and backups follow their purpose and provider lifetimes, with deletion or anonymisation when no longer needed.

These periods are not permission to keep every submission for six years. We delete sooner when information is no longer needed. Relevant records may be retained longer for a specific legal requirement or actual dispute, with restricted access and review. We use reasonable security measures and limit access to those who need it.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can always object to direct marketing. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.

Use our contact form to exercise your rights or complain; you do not need to submit a dream or purchase anything. We normally respond to rights requests within one month, subject to lawful extensions, and may request proportionate identity confirmation. We acknowledge privacy complaints within 30 days and respond without undue delay. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office or your local data protection authority.

We update this notice when our practices change and explain material changes. An update does not replace consent where fresh consent is required.
